Summary
The planned Topgolf-style entertainment complex in Perrysburg is officially canceled. That means the city won’t get the new hangout spot some residents expected, and the site’s future—and what gets built there—is back up in the air.

Impact analysis
Perrysburg likely misses out on potential construction spending, entertainment sales, and tax revenue the venue could have generated, though the source doesn’t give a dollar figure.
Existing nearby entertainment and restaurant venues could catch a break from less competition, and residents who worried about traffic or noise avoid those impacts.
People who wanted a new local hangout lose out, along with the developer and the city’s economic-development push.
